2025 EVENT INFORMATION

TOURNEY INFO
We are excited for the 7th annual Champions Challenge Grand Prix. We look forward to phenomenal competition, high-class clubs, and a thoughtful structure and event set-up. Thank you for being a part of this event!
CHECK-IN
Check-in will be done at each playing location prior to the start of play. You will submit your team rosters during check-in or prior to check-in via email.
PLAYING SCHEDULE
U12 Division - Friday & Saturday, March 15-16
U13 Division - Friday & Saturday, March 1-2
U14 Division - Friday & Saturday, February 23-24
U15 Division - Friday & Saturday, February 16-17
U16 Division - Friday & Saturday, February 2-3
U17 Division - Friday & Saturday, February 9-10
U18 Division - Friday & Saturday, March 22-23
FORMAT
Teams will have pool play on Friday evening, a reseeded pool play Saturday morning, followed by a seeded tournament on Saturday afternoon. Each U12-U18 team will play a minimum of 7 matches.
DIVISIONS
New in 2024: For 14U-18U, three divisions will be offered; Open, Premier, and Club. For 12U-13U, both Premier and Club will be offered.
REFEREE/SCOREKEEPER
All teams must provide a scorekeeper, libero tracker, R2 (down official - must be a rostered coach), and two linespersons for each match that they officiate.
ADMISSION
There will be a gate fee at the event of $5/person.
CONCESSIONS
Light snacks, treats, and a variety of bottled drinks will be available at the concessions stand.

AWARDS
THE CHAMPION
The winner of the 2025 Champions Challenge AAU Grand Prix will receive prestigious Champions Challenge t-shirts, banner, and a FREE* entry into the AAU National Championships in Orlando, FL.
*The winner in each girls’ age division with 16 or more teams will receive a free entry fee to the AAU National Championships or the AAU Volleyball Festival. If less teams participate, the entry fee will be adjusted on a percentage basis per the chart below based on the number of teams that participated in that division.

Sport City in Draper features six volleyball courts. Limited bleacher seating is provided but spectators are welcome to bring their own seating for extra comfort.

Quality Inn is giving teams and guests participating in the Champions Challenge a special room rate of $TBD per night. Featuring carpeted floors and wood furnishings, the casual rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, as well as microwaves and coffeemakers. Some come with pull-out sofas. Complimentary perks include hot breakfast and parking. There's an indoor pool and a hot tub. Pets are welcome (fee).
